Great Video. Very informative. I have the same issue with my 08 Ford e150 van. The mechanic replaced the spark plugs and one of the coils in cylinder 1 that was misfiring. Paid over 1000, and Now the issue is on Cylinder 5. It's frustrating and expensive if you don't do it yourself. I'm in Las Vegas

i owns a 2018 traverse LT FWD. my hanger holding the pipes broke itself, not completely just one side was ripped off but it did not damage the pipes. i got it welded at local shop because dealer wanted to replace whole exhaust assembly along with exhaust pipes, this was at around 60K KM mark. all was going smooth, until at 162K KM, i suddenly heard loud sound like exhaust is broken or leaking. went for checkup and found out there is whole in the head assembly of Catalytic Converter. mechanic said there was too much pressure build up and it poked a hole in the head part to escape. now have to replace that thing along with sensor (he said hopefully sensor could be ok because hole is like 1 cm diameter). pipes are ok but i was surprised why this happened? he said its probably due to build up in fuel lines, i should have gone for regular fuel system clean up but chevy doesn't say anything in its official user manual under maintenance service about regular fuel system cleanup or maintenance. maybe they want it to break and then rip the customers off for expensive parts and replacements?

Question we replaced the sensor yesterday as the sensor was burnt up but not my connector. don’t even get me started on how long it took to get BACK IN) but now it’s still showing my engine is running cold and I was sure that was going to fix it. I still see the check engine light on so I’m not sure what to do? Or if it should be reset?

For a 2021, that traverse pipe is one seriously corroded pipe. My 2018 doesn't even look as bad as that one.

Does this van have two temp sensors, one on the head and one on that metal coolant part on the intake manifold? It looks like mine is missing and my temp guage is alway showing low. But the scanner shows the temperature, just not on the van's dash.

lmao, thought i was having this problem. check the relay and the box is making sizzling noises like a damn grill cooking steak. turns out fuse box got wet from the 4 day rain storm and all the water splashing up into the fuse box. dried it all off and everything started working again

I swear every salvage rebuilder out there does complete hack work. Theres a shop somewhat near me that does them. I dont know how they havent been sued.

2018 Pacifica have problems where the coolant leaks into the engine causing a misfire in the cylinder, requiring a complete engine replacement. Beware!

Is this even cost efficient? To swap out to a whole new frame/track chassis. Seems like a huge financial investment.

I just did this job for a 2015 MKC, which is exactly the same as the Escape in your video. When lowering the subframe I hadn't cut all the plastic ties holding the wires going up to the computer, so almost damaged the wires. - Before starting the work I backed up the PSCM module configuration using Forscan. Also, because the replacement rack&pinion was purchased on eBay, I plugged it in and checked its configuration before installing. It turned out to have exactly the same configuration. - Also, before installing, I used other videos to center the rack&pinion. - I followed your advice not to tie the screws until all were in place and everything went smoothly. - There were no codes to clear after completed. I was expecting the height sensors to require recalibration. - Other videos say this job is around $4K with the dealer, I paid $300 for a used part that claimed to be 28K miles.
